Description:[]
The Swanfolk are natives of Faerne and take part in politic of its Demesne. When Mitherian armies marched to Faerne, and the Faerish Demesne was formed to stand as a united front of her peoples, the Swanfolk transitioned from farmers to warriors to rulers and merchants. Ancestrally, the Swanfolk were simple people of farmlands that stretched far through the valleys of Faerne, though the occasional conflict or border dispute arose the Swanfolk were not known to be warriors and rarely emerged the victor. When finally the Swanfolk were needed by the other races and kingdoms of Faerne, they took to sword and bled blood no less than that of the other warriors of the Demesne. In the outcome of the war, with the Demesne still standing, several families of Swanfolk were able to institute themselves into positions of power over the rest of their people and rose to great wealth and prominence in doing so.
Their is a great division among Swanfolk of poor and rich, and most Swanfolk remain simple farmers to this day.
